FAQs
Everything you need to know during your stay at Lewisham
We have CCTV in and around each property, an electronic key entry system for the main entrance, common areas, each flat and bedroom. There is also staff on site 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
If you’re having any problems with your room, a shared living space, or one of the communal areas, you have two options. You can log the issue via the Resident portal, providing details so our maintenance team can get this sorted for you as soon as possible. Alternatively, you can come down to the front desk and talk to a member of the team so we can log it on your behalf.
We want your university experience to be as positive as possible – if you are having any issues with your flat mates, please let us know. We will do our best to help resolve any problems you might be having.
We are more than happy to accommodate groups as well as individuals. Let us know who you’re planning to live with, and we’ll do our best to accommodate you in the same flat.
Unfortunately, you are not allowed to keep any pets in your room or any shared living spaces.

Lovely room and lovely place but seriously lacks social aspect. No communal living space for flat only kitchen and small table.

5-10 minutes walk from Kings Cross station. Room has all the basics but on the pricier side. There’s MyPup service for parcels. Downside is WiFi doesn’t reach the basement where the laundry is so you got to walk upstairs to connect to the app.

Chapter Aldgate is located centrally with access to both the Aldgate East and Whitechapel tube stations. The building is clean and provides various amenities such as a study room and gym. There is also staff on-site 24-7 who are helpful and friendly, and a maintenance crew who can be requested through an app.
